Smiling James {Burlington Newborn Photographer}

Sunday, September 5th, 2010

On Saturday, I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting James, and his mom and dad!  James is the newest nephew to Tiffany, and first child to Alba and Chris.  He was the perfect model for me and slept so well during his posed shots!  He even cracked a smile for me, which is rare at just 9 days old!  Well, I’d smile too if I was a part of this family!  :)

Thanks so much for choosing me as your photographer to capture this special memories.  I really love doing newborn photography, and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Worth the wait! {Brampton Family Photography}

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

Meet Jen & Shawn (which, coincidentally are the names of my husband and I):

SP06

First came love. They met 8 years ago. Then came marriage (5 years ago)!

Then came Chase, a beautiful Golden Retriever!

SP01

Then came Hayley and Hannah in baby carriages (but not at the same time!).

I really adored photographing this family today. We were supposed to get together back in June but due to rain & illnesses, today ended up being photo shoot day. We had perfect weather for it too, and the girls enjoyed watching the ducks and playing in the river! Thanks so much for having me out today! I look forward to many years of pictures with your family! I hope you love your sneak peek!

Meet Maisie! {Brampton Newborn Photographer}

Saturday, August 28th, 2010

Today I had the honour of photographing my friend Larissa’s newborn daughter, Maisie! Maisie is the second daughter to Scott and Larissa, and little sister to Kahlan. Scott and Larissa were good enough to come to my “home studio” (aka I kicked my family out of my living room for the afternoon) to do Maisie’s pictures. Thanks so much!

Recently my daughter has been asking to come on photo sessions with me, but being that she’s 4, I can’t bring her. Today she got the opportunity to watch me work, in between playing with Kahlan in the basement while my dear husband supervised. Thanks honey!

Ok, back to the cuteness! Here is Maisie, 10 days old and ADORABLE!!! Thanks again Scott & Larissa! I hope you love your pictures!

A Beautiful Family {Milton Family Photographer}

Saturday, August 21st, 2010

Today I went out to Milton, Ontario to photograph this gorgeous family!  Melanie was referred to me by my friend Maureen, (go visit her new website) and I am so thankful for this opportunity!  Turns out Melanie and I attended the same high school, although we never met.  I was in the same grade as her sister though.  Small world, huh?

Anyway, on to the good stuff.  Their beautiful daughter is just 8 weeks old and decided to take a nap half way through our session.  Her big brother Dante was a superb model, and mom and dad weren’t too shabby either!  Thanks so much for having me out today Melanie and Lawrence!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Happy 25th Anniversary! {Brampton Family Photographer}

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Last week I was contacted by Julia.  She had a fabulous idea for her parent’s 25th anniversary – family portraits!  It truly is the gift that keeps on giving, you know.  Every time you look at the wall, you see your gorgeous children every day.  This is especially important when 2 of your 3 children are away at school most of the year!

Tonight we had our session.  What a lovely family, and such a beautiful backyard!  You can tell that this house is full of love and joy.  Not only can you see it in their faces, but in their home also.  Thanks so much for having me out tonight and for choosing me as your photographer for this wonderful gift!  I hope you love your sneak peek!

First, mom and dad:

Big Brown Eyes! {Brampton Baby Photographer}

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Today I had the delightful job of photographing baby Jamie, and his big brother Justin.  Jamie is just 3.5 months old and he was our little star, and I got lost in those gorgeous big brown eyes of his!  Justin was just as photogenic and loved having me take his picture!  Both boys really memorized me.  It was a really fun session.  Thanks Parbattie for having me out today!  I would love to come back when Jamie is 6 months old and look into those gorgeous brown eyes again!

I hope you love your sneak peek!

Miss Maeve in the Park! {Toronto Child Photographer}

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

Today I was delighted to meet Maeve for her one year portrait session.  I met Maeve’s mom, Kathryn, at a networking event hosted by Leigh Mitchell’s fabulous group, Mom Entrepreneur’s Network, a few months ago.  Kathryn is a Disney Travel Specialist and a wonderful lady!  But enough about her…today was all about Maeve!

Maeve was much too interested in her surroundings today.  I can’t blame her though, because High Park is a very interesting place.  We did manage to get some wonderful pictures of her as she watched the geese, explored the flowers and settled down with some afternoon reading.  It was great walking around with Maeve, mom and dad and exploring the park.

Thanks so much for having me out today.  I hope you love your sneak peek!

Another Isabella! {Brampton Newborn Photography}

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

Hello Isabella!

You are the third Isabella I’ve had the pleasure of photographing since starting my business in 2008.  I can’t say you were the cutest, because all three are equally beautiful (and I’d have two moms really mad at me ;) ) but I can say you slept the most even though you were a hungry girl!  When the milk coma hit, you were out!  At 8 lbs, 7 oz and just 6 days old, you were one perfect model!

Readers, it was a HOT one today.  We had +30 C temperatures and humidity making it feel into the 40s.  It made for good newborn conditions though because newborns love the warmth.  It helps them sleep very well.  A sleepy baby is easier to photograph then an awake one only because they won’t move and are easier to pose (just in case anyone was wondering).

Thank you Megan and Rolando and big brother Ethan for allowing me to share this special time in your lives.  I can’t wait to see this little girl (and Ethan) grow into beautiful children and adults!  I hope you love your sneak peek!

Stella!!! {Bolton Baby Photographer}

Monday, June 21st, 2010

Oh Miss Stella – you are a cutie patootie all right!  You were a doll smiling for my camera with the help of mom and dad singing “itsy bitsy spider”!  It makes me want to bring a video camera with me to photo sessions so I can capture what moms and dads do to make a baby laugh!  We were having so much fun that Paula and Vince were making me laugh too!

Thanks so much for having me out on Saturday.  I’m so glad the rain stayed away for us too!  I hope you love your sneak peek!

Lots to love! {Toronto Newborn Photographer}

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

This is Owen.

He is gorgeous.

He is just over 9 lbs of squishy baby to love, and he has a very big family to love him.  While he is the first son Laura and Simon, he is the 6th (please correct me if I’m wrong Laura) grandchild on Laura’s side and 3rd grandchild on Simon’s side.  Did I mention he is gorgeous?  He slept wonderfully (with the help of Dad’s finger to suck on) and let me pose him into without too much fuss.

Thanks so much for having me out.  I hope you love your sneak peek!
