Miss Maeve in the Park! {Toronto Child Photographer}

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

Today I was delighted to meet Maeve for her one year portrait session.  I met Maeve’s mom, Kathryn, at a networking event hosted by Leigh Mitchell’s fabulous group, Mom Entrepreneur’s Network, a few months ago.  Kathryn is a Disney Travel Specialist and a wonderful lady!  But enough about her…today was all about Maeve!

Maeve was much too interested in her surroundings today.  I can’t blame her though, because High Park is a very interesting place.  We did manage to get some wonderful pictures of her as she watched the geese, explored the flowers and settled down with some afternoon reading.  It was great walking around with Maeve, mom and dad and exploring the park.

Thanks so much for having me out today.  I hope you love your sneak peek!

Lots to love! {Toronto Newborn Photographer}

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

This is Owen.

He is gorgeous.

He is just over 9 lbs of squishy baby to love, and he has a very big family to love him.  While he is the first son Laura and Simon, he is the 6th (please correct me if I’m wrong Laura) grandchild on Laura’s side and 3rd grandchild on Simon’s side.  Did I mention he is gorgeous?  He slept wonderfully (with the help of Dad’s finger to suck on) and let me pose him into without too much fuss.

Thanks so much for having me out.  I hope you love your sneak peek!

Sweet Baby Girl! {Brampton Newborn Photographer}

Saturday, June 12th, 2010

After a cluster of newborn boys, I was very happy to have the opportunity to photograph this beautiful princess today!  Although sleep was not really part of HER plan, we did mange to coax her into a cat nap, eventually.  Patience pays off I tell you, and patience got us this gorgeous shot in this gorgeous hat!

Geet, thank you so much for having me out today.  It was a pleasure meeting you and your family!

A gift for mom! {Brampton Family Photographer}

Sunday, May 30th, 2010

Today I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family.  Angie, sporting her little black dress (gorgeous isn’t she?) is a lovely friend of mine and the owner of In Bloom, a floral design company specializing in weddings.  We have been talking about doing family pictures since last year and finally we were able to get together today to get them done which was a birthday gift for her mom from the whole family.  We It was a pleasure to meet her brother and his family also.  Thanks so much for having me out!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

And then she turned 2! {Milton Child Photographer}

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

Today I had the honour of seeing Miss T again, a day after her 2nd birthday.  If you recall, last year I met her for the first time when she turned one.  She wasn’t walking yet and didn’t mind wearing the tutu I brought for her.  Today she would have none of that!  Not only is she walking, but she’s running everywhere!  She definitely gave me a workout (as did the blackflies, but that’s another story)!

I also met T’s older sister, Karly.  T is definitely going to a beautiful girl like her big sister!

Thanks so much for having me out today, mom and dad!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Help me help Corynn! {Toronto Photographer}

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Last year I met a wonderful family during one of my fall photo sessions.  We went to Riverdale Farm and had an awesome time.  Since then, Corynn and I have become friends, and I am honoured to be able help her raise money for the Weekend to End Women’s Cancers.

Corynn has created a wonderful website that has different ways to help her raise money for the WEWC.  She has created a shopping page with lots of great products and services.  One of the services available is, you guessed it, a photo session with me.  For every photo session booked, I will donate $25 towards her campaign.  The session must be booked by September 1, but can occur any time after the booking is received.  Full details can be found at http://www.corynn.com/Naturally-Beautiful-Photography.html.

Support this worthy cause by visiting her at  http://www.corynn.com and take a moment to browse and shop!  She will also be having a silent auction where you will have a chance to bid on a photo session as well.  Details to follow on that exciting event!

Prints are great and all….

Monday, February 15th, 2010

but wouldn’t you just love to have something like this on your wall?

This is a beautifully hand-crafted, custom designed storyboard created for a client last year. The prints are mounted on a wood frame that stands out 2 inches from your wall. It’s a beautiful alternative to a print and is coated with a UV protective spray.

If a storyboard isn’t your cup of tea, what about a canvas wrapped print?

This particular canvas is a 16×24 image wrapped on a 2.5″ stretcher bar and supported with a masonite backing to ensure the canvas isn’t easily damaged. It is also sprayed with a UV protective coating.

Looking for something a bit smaller to give as a gift to grandparents or aunts and uncles? What about a wallet-sized Accordion Brag Book?

Isn’t that just lovely? I created these as gifts for the grandparents this past Christmas and it was a huge hit! It is double sided and can incorporate up to 11 individual images. They are sold in sets of 3 so you can keep one for yourself too!

Stay tuned as I will be introducing more of these Boutique Products over the next few months, including Albums!

Valentine’s Preparations {Brampton Child Photographer}

Friday, February 12th, 2010

Valentine’s is a lot of work, for a four year old that is! This year is my daughter’s first class Valentine’s party. She painstakingly wrote her name on all 23 cards for her class mates and stuck a heart on each one. She was very proud to take them to school to give to her friends, and even more proud of the ones she brought home from her friends. It was a great day!

These are the cards she picked. Love the “da bomb” on it!

Don’t break her concentration (notice the tongue, now THAT’S concentration).

How’s that letter formed again?

Always gotta have the camera out, eh mom?

And done (well almost).

I’m sure next year will be just as great!

Grad Photos! {Brampton Family Photographer}

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

Today I visited my friend to do grad photos of her son. I knew that her son was musically inclined, but I didn’t realize just how good he was! He played his guitar during the session and was quite good! He told me that he taught himself guitar and he also plays piano and alto saxophone!

Here are a couple of my favourites from today! Thanks so much for having me out!

Wedding Bells in Jamaica!

Sunday, January 17th, 2010

This past week I had the lovely honour of attending my cousin’s wedding at the wonderful Grand Bahia Principe resort in Runaway Bay.  It was a perfect day for a perfect couple.  I know they will have a wonderful life together.  My new cousin-in-law made such a beautiful bride with some truly awesome shoes, and my cousin sported bare feet for the occasion!

Congratulations Dan and Robin!  Thank you for letting me share this special day with you!  I love you guys!
