I have always loved photography.  My dad taught me to shoot with a “real” camera when I was 19 years old.  It was a truly manual camera.  I had to learn about shutter speeds, exposures and lighting.  It was the best gift he could have ever given me.  Over the years I have been inspired by the natural landscapes around me and most recently by daughter and friends’ children.  What a joy it is to capture that sweet and most innocent moment of a child when they are least expecting it!

Entering the world of digital photography brought a whole new meaning to me.  How awesome is it to see your pictures almost immediately and delete the ones you would rather not see again?!  I strive to capture the most natural image possible, using editing software only to enhance the already natural beauty of the my subjects.

Photography is more than just taking a picture.  It’s capturing that unique moment in time that will forever be cherished in your memories.  It’s about capturing those unexpected moments of true emotions.  You’ll rarely hear me use the phrase “say cheese”.  Instead, you’ll see me bouncing around to get that sweet and innocent shot you’ll cherish forever.
