On Tuesday, I photographed this beautiful newborn boy who was only 7 days old, and had to come back to capture the rest of his family too! What a wonderful family they are, and I’m so happy to present a few more images tonight. Thanks again for having me out, and I look forward to seeing you all again towards the end of the summer!

That’s right my friends, her due date was yesterday so while this photo session may have been last minute, it was a lot of fun! Kudos to Maureen and Tom for coming out today for this! This sweet baby is going to have a hard time deciding if she’d rather be a hockey player or a ballerina when she grows up! Whatever she chooses, I’m sure she’ll be great at it! Miss O is only 5 days old and slept for almost the entire session. She was a gem to work with! Thank you so much mom and dad for this beautiful opportunity to photograph your angel. I look forward to seeing her when she’s a year old – I bet that tutu will still fit!

Today I had the delightful pleasure to photograph the nephew of a friend of mine from highschool. Sweet Prince M was wonderful to work with at just 7 days old, sleeping most of the time! He has these deep, purple-ish eyes and oh the hair! As you’ll see, he has beautiful, lush hair that any newborn would be jealous of! Thank you Jessie for having me out today! Congratulations on your beautiful son!
Today I had the delightful pleasure of meeting and photographing Miss F at 14 days old. Usually we photographers prefer the babies to be asleep for the photo sessions, however, Miss F was having none of that! Mom and I did manage to get her to fall asleep for about, oh, 5 minutes but it was enough time to snap the pictures I wanted!
Not only did I get to meet Miss F, but I also got to meet her adorable big sister, Miss N. Thanks mom and dad for having me out today! Mom, it was a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to our next session in the fall!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Miss A, who wasn’t due to be born until April 15! Much to the pleasant surprise of her mom and dad, she was born on April 1 which is also her mom’s birthday. Today was my first outdoor session for 2010, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. EVERYBODY was out at the park this morning. I had to wait a few times for people to pass by so they wouldn’t be in our shots! I had a great time photographing this sweet baby who just turned one year old, as well as mom and dad. It was a pleasure to meet you all today! I hope you have a lovely Easter, and enjoy your sneak peeks!
Thank you for all the referrals for maternity/newborn photography over the last few months. It was lovely to meet some new bellies and babies over the winter! Now, spring is here, and I’m anxious to get outside to do some family sessions. In fact, my first outdoor family session is tomorrow!
That being said, I’m still taking maternity and newborn clients all year long. In fact, I’ve got two clients due in April – stay tuned for that adorableness! I’ve discovered that I really enjoy this niche of photography. Newborn and Baby photography is so special and unique. It really warms my heart to be able to give my clients images of their newborns that they will cherish forever.
But that’s not what you came here to read about…you want to know who the winner is! I’m pleased to announce that one of my past clients, Cherie, has won a family portrait session to be held later this year. I had the pleasure of photographing her newborn daughter back in September and look forward to photographing her for her 1 year portraits this year.
