Who do we appreciate?!  These kids no doubtly appreciate their mom and dad very much!  They got the afternoon off school for this session – pretty awesome if you ask me!  They are all two years apart, the youngest being two…well you get the picture.  They are a great bunch of kids and did an amazing job today!

I appreciate this beautiful family and this wonderful location we met up at today.  It’s an old farm house surrounded by even older maple trees – a perfect setting for fall pictures!

Before we get to the pictures, I have to tell you about Rodney and Jenny.  I met Jenny last year through a Christian fellowship group for women called Coffee Break.  Immediately I saw what a strong woman she is, and not only because she is the mother to four children!  She has a glow about her and when you meet her, you can see God working in her immediately.  There’s no question about it – she is truly an amazing woman!

Rod is the Associate Pastor at the church they attend.  I don’t really know Rod at all to be honest, but meeting him today I can see that he is a wonderful father, devoted husband and no doubt, a great friend.  He will be doing his Masters of Divinity starting in 2010, and I wish him all the best!  God has great things in store for you Rod, no doubt!

Now, on to some great pictures and some goofiness too!  (And don’t worry, not all the pictures I took are goofy like these ones!)

Thanks so much for having me capture these memories for you!  It was an amazing session, and I had so much fun!

God bless you all!

Beautiful families on a beautiful day!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing two beautiful families!  For the first family (2 boys, a girl and mom and dad), we went to Riverdale Farm in Toronto.  It was a beautiful location with a wonderful cobblestone bridge.  We had a great time!  I am not able to show a sneak peek from that session out of respect for the family’s privacy concerns, but trust me, the pictures are great!  :)

For the second family, it was back home to Brampton to a lovely park called Loafer’s Lake.  This family happens to be my neighbours, and more importantly my friends!  Their oldest daughter, B, attends school with my daughter.  She did a great job modeling for me today, and I’m very happy to present your sneak peek to you!  Enjoy!

We fought the weather….

and we won!  :)

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family, after 2 unsuccessful, weather-related attempts this past month!  I have to say that even though we had dark clouds looming, these children were certainly our bright spots!  We had lots of fun running around a small park along Lake Ontario!

Thank you to Linda and her family for having me out this afternoon!  It was wonderful to finally meet you!  Enjoy your sneak peeks!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful friend Sharon and her darling children!  Sharon and I went to high school together, and I am so happy that we have kept in touch all these years!  Sharon is always full of spunk, and her children are no different!

Thanks so much for doing this session with me!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Last year I had the pleasure of photographing Max and Eowyn, two beautiful twins who were just turning two!  It’s now a year later and oh my have they grown!  Today we went to the park near their house, and while it was a little bit tough to get Max to smile, he did crack one or two for me!

Thanks so much for having me out again this year!  I look forward to next year!  :)

Put your shoes on Lucy! {Toronto Newborn Photographer}

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

Today I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful 2 week old baby, Lucy.  While we were waiting for Lucy to be ready for her moment, I was telling her parents about a song I sing to my daughter called “Put your shoes on Lucy“.  I found it on YouTube of course, so have a listen while you’re enjoying your sneak peek!  :)

Seeing double?! {Milton Child Photographer}

Today I had the pleasure of photographing twins for the first time!  Meet M and D, and their little sister B!  M and D were totally rocking this session!  They played into the camera like they had been doing it for twenty years!  We had a great time at Mill Pond – what a breathtaking location I must say!  Their little sister B, wasn’t feeling the camera love so much but we did sneak a few good ones in!

Thanks for having me out!  I really enjoyed meeting everyone!

Fall Fun!

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

While I am sad to see that summer has left us, I look forward to the beauty of autumn!  The kids enjoy playing in the leaves so much, and the beautiful colours make even the cold air worth withstanding to get some nice pictures!

Now, if only it would stop raining every time I schedule an outdoor photo session!  At least I got a few of my kids yesterday!

Blessed three times! {Brampton Newborn Photographer}

Today I had the pleasure of meeting my friend’s newest addition to their family!  Ira is the third daughter to Bek and Joe, and like their two older daughters, Ira is sweet and beautiful!  I’m looking forward to photographing her and the family soon!  Ira didn’t feel like sleeping for us, but that means we get to see her beautiful eyes in these pictures!

Thanks for having me out!  It was a honour to do this for you!

A pink special for October!

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

It’s no secret that my family has been more than “touched” by breast cancer.  In fact, it runs rampant on my mom’s side of the family.  Fortunately, there have been many survivors, including my mom, with this dreadful disease.  Detection is the best protection.  Do your breast exams ladies!

In honour of October being breast Cancer Awareness month, I will be donating 10% of any new sessions booked between October 1-31 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.  The session does not have to occur in October, but I do need to receive your deposit by October 31!

Help me raise money for this wonderful cause!  You can contact me at jennifer@naturallybeautifulphotography.com to book your session!
