Fun with Friends

Sunday, August 30th, 2009

On Friday, my good friend and I decided to go for a walk around our local park with our children. I was determined to get a picture of her two boys together, smiling and both looking at the camera. Alas it was not meant to be on this particular day, but it will happen. Her oldest boy had not slept well the night before so I was lucky to get the smiles I did! Her boys are very adorable. I could take pictures of them any time!

First I caught C peeking out through the tall grass:

Next we have little L walking along the path.  I really had to catch him off guard or else he turned and ran from the camera!  Gotta love 2 year olds (well, almost two!)

I love the age between 1 and 3.  Children are so curious and everything fascinates them!

Time for a colouring break!

And we can’t forget the obligatory cute baby shot!

It was a lovely morning!  We must make sure to do it again soon!

I’m pleased to announce that NBP has a fresh new logo, as you can see above and on the website! I’m also happy that the website is working much better now! It turns out I had too many images on my slideshow which was causing the website to load slowly. Go figure!

I’m also working on some new products and packages for the upcoming Christmas season! Stay tuned for details! There may be another Facebook contest in the works too! If you’re not already a fan, you can join in the fun on Facebook!

Website Issues

Wednesday, August 26th, 2009

It’s come to my attention that my website is not working for Internet Explorer users but is fine in Firefox and Safari. Apparently it’s because I put too many pictures up!

Le sigh!

I am in process of fixing it!

Thanks!

Shoes are my daughter’s best friend! She has more shoes than I do! My mom got her these ones last week, and they are so cute!

Always be thankful!

Today, at least 4 tornadoes touched down in various places of Ontario. One person, possibly a child, lost his or her life in one of the first touch downs. That tornado was about 5 minutes from my mom and dad’s house near Durham, Ontario. As soon as I heard about it, I called my parents but got no answer. I tried their cell and mom said they had no power, but were ok. Thank God!

I hope that everyone is ok tonight, and that you are all holding your loved ones close.

Sweet Cheeks!

Let me start off by saying this was my daughter’s idea, and a good one at that! When my son was 6 months old, I took a picture of his cute little tooshie and I casually mentioned to my daughter that I would like to do one of the two of them like this. At the time she didn’t want to do it, so I forgot about it. A few days ago she brought it up. I’ll never say no to a cute photo op!

Today I give thanks for two of the cutest bums in my house!

More sneak peaks! {Brampton Child Photographer}

As promised, here are some more sneak peaks!  I told you in the last post that the two boys were adorable.  Here’s the proof!

Thanks again for having me out! I had a wonderful time!

Tonight I had the pleasure of photographing my friend’s family.  She and her husband are the proud parents of two adorable boys!  We had to switch locations at the last minute plus it was very humid outside, but all in all, I think we did pretty good!

I had to get one picture up tonight and I will put a few more up tomorrow!  Thanks for a great session!  Love his eyes!

Love those eyes!

It’s no surprise that I probably have 2,613,034 pictures of my children.  After all, they are my favourite subjects!  I thank God every day I’ve been blessed with two beautiful and good-natured children!  :)

Tonight I have a photo session so I thought I’d get in the zone with a few pictures of my children!  This one of my almost 8 month old son is today’s favourite!

Sigh!  How can you not love him!  :)

Sunflare and Spiderweb!

Friday, August 14th, 2009

Last night my husband mentioned that there was a very ambitious spider making a web from our carport to the tree in front of our house.  There is probably a good 15 feet inbetween the carport and the tree.  Very ambitious indeed!  This morning we have the finished product, along with some beautiful sunflare to provide some light!

Here’s the full extent of the web.  A bit hard to see but you’ll get the point:

And here’s the web in all it’s glory!

It’s truly amazing that such a little spider can make such a big home for itself. If only everyone was this ambitious (me included)! God has given each creature on this earth amazing gifts! We should all take a minute to examine what our gift is and how God wants us to use it!
