On Saturday, I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting James, and his mom and dad! James is the newest nephew to Tiffany, and first child to Alba and Chris. He was the perfect model for me and slept so well during his posed shots! He even cracked a smile for me, which is rare at just 9 days old! Well, I’d smile too if I was a part of this family!

Meet Jen & Shawn (which, coincidentally are the names of my husband and I):

First came love. They met 8 years ago. Then came marriage (5 years ago)!

Then came Chase, a beautiful Golden Retriever!

Then came Hayley and Hannah in baby carriages (but not at the same time!).

I really adored photographing this family today. We were supposed to get together back in June but due to rain & illnesses, today ended up being photo shoot day. We had perfect weather for it too, and the girls enjoyed watching the ducks and playing in the river! Thanks so much for having me out today! Meet Maisie! {Brampton Newborn Photographer}

Today I had the honour of photographing my friend Larissa’s newborn daughter, Maisie! Maisie is the second daughter to Scott and Larissa, and little sister to Kahlan. Scott and Larissa were good enough to come to my “home studio” (aka I kicked my family out of my living room for the afternoon) to do Maisie’s pictures. Thanks so much!

Recently my daughter has been asking to come on photo sessions with me, but being that she’s 4, I can’t bring her. Today she got the opportunity to watch me work, in between playing with Kahlan in the basement while my dear husband supervised. Thanks honey!

Ok, back to the cuteness! Here is Maisie, 10 days old and ADORABLE!!! Thanks again Scott & Larissa! I hope you love your pictures!

A Beautiful Family {Milton Family Photographer}

Today I went out to Milton, Ontario to photograph this gorgeous family! Melanie was referred to me by my friend Maureen, (go visit her new website) and I am so thankful for this opportunity! Turns out Melanie and I attended the same high school, although we never met. I was in the same grade as her sister though. Small world, huh?

Anyway, on to the good stuff. Their beautiful daughter is just 8 weeks old and decided to take a nap half way through our session. Her big brother Dante was a superb model, and mom and dad weren’t too shabby either! Thanks so much for having me out today Melanie and Lawrence! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Happy 25th Anniversary! {Brampton Family Photographer}

Last week I was contacted by Julia. She had a fabulous idea for her parent’s 25th anniversary – family portraits! It truly is the gift that keeps on giving, you know. Every time you look at the wall, you see your gorgeous children every day. This is especially important when 2 of your 3 children are away at school most of the year!

Tonight we had our session. What a lovely family, and such a beautiful backyard! You can tell that this house is full of love and joy. Not only can you see it in their faces, but in their home also. Thanks so much for having me out tonight and for choosing me as your photographer for this wonderful gift! I hope you love your sneak peek!

Today I had the honour of photographing beautiful Breanne at just 3 days old. This sweet little one was 6 lbs, 8 oz when born and has two big sisters to help take care of her over the years! Thank you so Marlowe & Peter for having me out today. You have a beautiful family. I’m so glad I could be there to capture these beautiful moments!

Oh, and just as exciting as the arrival of the new baby is the news that Peter proposed to Marlowe…3 days ago – you do the math!

Time for School – almost! {Brampton Children’s Photographer}

When I first met Kerry and her two adorable children (who are twins), they were just two years old. This is my third year photographing them, and I am so completely honoured that Kerry has had me back year after year. First, I must take you on a trip down memory lane to see how much Max and Eowyn have grown into the beautiful children they are!

And finally, this year, Age 4 and all ready to start Jr. Kindergarten! I know Kerry is excited for this special time in their life and I am right along with her! It’s one of those bittersweet moments – you don’t want your babies to grow up, but you want them to explore life outside the house too. Max and Eowyn are going to do great in school – their personalities are so unique and wonderful. They will be best friends with everyone, and each other (most of the time). I hope you love your sneak peek and I can’t wait for next year!

Fall Family Photos – Yes it’s time!

Here it is, the second week of August and I’m already talking about the fall season! Usually I’m the one cringing when I see Halloween candy on the store shelves before October 1st (and yes, it is already out on the shelves) or when I see school supplies mid-July! However, I’m posting this now because photographers book up very quickly in the fall season, and I don’t want anyone to miss out because they waited too long to book a photographer.

I’m very happy to offer this special for your fall family portraits. If you book your session with me by August 31st (session has to be done by November 15th), you will receive the following for $225 + HST:

A LIttle Fall of Rain {Bolton Baby Photographer}

Today I headed up to Bolton to meet Stella and her family. We went to Dick’s Damn Park to capture these sweet shots! I had to mention the name of the park because it was just too funny not too! When I checked the weather on Friday, we were all clear for a nice day for pictures, however, mother nature had a mind of her own today. We managed to get the pictures done in about 20 minutes, and that’s about the same time the sky opened up on us!

Thanks Vince and Paula for having me out today and for braving the rain with me! Stella is getting more and more beautiful every day!
