Time for School – almost! {Brampton Children’s Photographer}

Tuesday, August 10th, 2010

When I first met Kerry and her two adorable children (who are twins), they were just two years old. This is my third year photographing them, and I am so completely honoured that Kerry has had me back year after year. First, I must take you on a trip down memory lane to see how much Max and Eowyn have grown into the beautiful children they are!

And finally, this year, Age 4 and all ready to start Jr. Kindergarten! I know Kerry is excited for this special time in their life and I am right along with her! It’s one of those bittersweet moments – you don’t want your babies to grow up, but you want them to explore life outside the house too. Max and Eowyn are going to do great in school – their personalities are so unique and wonderful. They will be best friends with everyone, and each other (most of the time). I hope you love your sneak peek and I can’t wait for next year!

Miss Maeve in the Park! {Toronto Child Photographer}

Saturday, July 10th, 2010

Today I was delighted to meet Maeve for her one year portrait session.  I met Maeve’s mom, Kathryn, at a networking event hosted by Leigh Mitchell’s fabulous group, Mom Entrepreneur’s Network, a few months ago.  Kathryn is a Disney Travel Specialist and a wonderful lady!  But enough about her…today was all about Maeve!

Maeve was much too interested in her surroundings today.  I can’t blame her though, because High Park is a very interesting place.  We did manage to get some wonderful pictures of her as she watched the geese, explored the flowers and settled down with some afternoon reading.  It was great walking around with Maeve, mom and dad and exploring the park.

Thanks so much for having me out today.  I hope you love your sneak peek!

All done Jr. Kindergarten!

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

I can’t believe an entire school year has passed and my sweet baby girl is done for the summer. She did very well on her progress report, and we are all very proud of her!

As I watch my kids grow, I am amazed every day by the new things they learn how to do. My daughter is able to write simple words like hat, cat, mop, etc., and my son who is 18 months can feed himself very well with a fork. The spoon, on the other hand, is still a bit of a challenge! His personality has changed so much in the last couple of weeks. He shakes his head for no and nods for yes, and still ignores me when I tell him NO! Typical boy, right?

My husband and I are so proud of both of them. They are awesome kids, and here are a few pictures to prove it!

Turning 1! {Brampton Child Photographer}

Monday, June 14th, 2010

I first photographed Bri and Cassy when Cassy was just 3 months old.  Look at how she’s grown and changed!  She is such a little lady now with big beautiful eyes and a gorgeous smile!  Big sister Brianna was a wonderful help getting Cassy to smile tonight as she warmed up to my camera.  We had a great time at Loafer’s Lake park, a favourite spot of mine for photo sessions.  Thanks Lisa for having me photograph this special time in Cassandra’s life!  It was truly an honour.  Happy Birthday Cassy!

Say Hi to Chloe! {Bolton Newborn Photographer}

Monday, June 14th, 2010

Today I had the lovely pleasure of meeting Chloe and her wonderful family.  Chloe has the most adorable big sister who I can tell is going to be like a 2nd mom in the house!  She loves her little sister so much – I think she mentioned it at least 3 times while I was there.  Chloe also has two wonderful parents who so warmly welcomed me into their home.  Thank you for having me out today!  I hope you love your sneak peek.

And then she turned 2! {Milton Child Photographer}

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

Today I had the honour of seeing Miss T again, a day after her 2nd birthday.  If you recall, last year I met her for the first time when she turned one.  She wasn’t walking yet and didn’t mind wearing the tutu I brought for her.  Today she would have none of that!  Not only is she walking, but she’s running everywhere!  She definitely gave me a workout (as did the blackflies, but that’s another story)!

I also met T’s older sister, Karly.  T is definitely going to a beautiful girl like her big sister!

Thanks so much for having me out today, mom and dad!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Sweet Miss F! {Mississauga Newborn Photographer}

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

Today I had the delightful pleasure of meeting and photographing Miss F at 14 days old.  Usually we photographers prefer the babies to be asleep for the photo sessions, however, Miss F was having none of that!  Mom and I did manage to get her to fall asleep for about, oh, 5 minutes but it was enough time to snap the pictures I wanted!

Not only did I get to meet Miss F, but I also got to meet her adorable big sister, Miss N.  Thanks mom and dad for having me out today!  Mom, it was a pleasure meeting you and I look forward to our next session in the fall! :)   I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!

Last year’s Christmas present

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

On this day, last year, at approximately this time (7:10 pm EST), I was complaining to whoever would listen that I was 4 days overdue, so uncomfortable and worried that my son would never be born.  I was worried that I would have to be induced again and endure another 28 hour labour like I did with my daughter.

Little did I know that in just 4 short hours, I would be in labour and in just 11 hours, at 6:05 am on December 18, I would be holding my newborn son!  :)   Whoever said that complaining doesn’t get you anywhere was wrong!  ;-)

Now, it’s a year later and I sit here wondering how my little baby went form this:

To this!

Happy Birthday my sweet boy!  I love you and thank God every day you are my son!

A walk in the park

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

I had a very hard time picking the pictures for this sneak peek.  Every single picture had an element of Z’s personality shining through!  I managed to narrow it down, and I hope Z’s mom and dad will love these!  Thanks so much for having me out, especially being that it was your first time using a pro!  I hope we can make it an annual tradition!

We fought the weather….

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

and we won!  :)

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family, after 2 unsuccessful, weather-related attempts this past month!  I have to say that even though we had dark clouds looming, these children were certainly our bright spots!  We had lots of fun running around a small park along Lake Ontario!

Thank you to Linda and her family for having me out this afternoon!  It was wonderful to finally meet you!  Enjoy your sneak peeks!
